The two drivers attacked the track, swapping positions back and forth to start off the 30-minute A-Main. Eventually the REDS powered TLR buggy of Cole Ogden would stretch out his lead and take the victory! Read more…

    Olly Wins BRCA

The fifth and final round of the 2014 BRCA Touring Car Championship visited Mendip with the Super Touring title race yet to be decided. Chris Grainger, Colin Price, Elliot Harper, and Reedy factory driver Olly Jefferies were all mathematically alive – each with a chance to claim the title with a win.

Poor weather has been the norm this season and round five was no exception. Intermittent rain made racing difficult for the drivers on the track. Ultimately, the fast drivers were able to adapt to the conditions and end up on the top of the time sheets. Neumann leads TD German Nats sweep

    August 20, 2014 - 16:32 by Mike Garrison 0 Comments

    Durango German Nats

The 2014 double EFRA European Champion, Jörn Neumann, has struck again with another prestigious off-road race title victory. Jörn has just returned from the German 1/10 Offroad National Championships, taking first overall in 4WD Buggy, and also taking first overall in 4wd Short Course. Despite wet conditions, that plagued the practice and qualifying rounds during the first day of this two day competition, Jörn was able to take TQ with his DEX410v4 and DESC410v2 vehicles. This double victory also included an almost faultless start-to-finish win in the ‘A’ Main finals in both classes, leaving the competition some ten seconds in his wake. Founder Team Durango legend, Gerd Strenge, was also able to secure a very pleasing victory, racing his DEX410v4 in the stock class. This gave Team Durango a clean sweep of German National victories, taking all three classes home for the 2014 season!
