Shortly after Ryan Lutz announcing his departure from the Team Durango squad, the company has shared their plans for 2015. With multiple new products in the works (including the DNX8), Team Durango has said their focus will be towards customer/racer support in 2015.
“The race scene is changing and that requires a change of strategy to best meet the needs of our hugely valued customers.”
Robert Batlle’s ‘RBR36 Arena’ is finally complete, and along with it comes the official promo video. This video is less than 4 minutes long, but that is all it takes to have us drooling over this world class facility. The 2014 Portuguese Cup took place last weekend at Torres Novas track, the track of the 2012 European TC Championship and the track which is going to host also the 2015 European TC Championship. XRAY’s Bruno Coelho stole the show as he wrapped up TQ in 1/10 Nitro qualifying, and drove home to an easy win in the final with a 7 lap lead on teammate Joao Nascimento in second. Jorge Azinheira finished out the podium with an impressive third place finish.

The RcProf Challenge was hosted this past weekend at the Budapest RC Arena in Hungary. The challenge gathered many of the best drivers from surrounding areas in a variety of classes. In the 13.5 TC class it would be Barnabas Toth who took home the win, followed by XRAY’s Janos Birinyi and Peter Miko. In the Modified TC class, the win belonged to Viktor Juhasz, followed closely by Zsolt Bajusz and Peter Taal.
