The final round of the Dutch Onroad Nationals was hosted last weekend in Heemstede. The weather was beautiful, and the drivers were on point to do battle. Tire wear and pit strategy was quite important for racers throughout the weekend. Serpent’s Daan Jacobs jumped out front early, and never looked back! Jacobs took a solid victory over Roy Bakker, who inherited second from Daan Stuiver after a tire change. Stuiver held strong to finish a respectable third.
Round 1 of the Roma Shock Championship was hosted this past weekend at the T5 Track in Rome, Italy. The sun was shining, and the heat was on high. In the Modified TC class it was a battle for the win between the two Alessio’s. In the end, XRAY’s Alessio Menicucci would take home the gold, with Alessio Valentini taking second. Simone D’Ottavio wrapped up the podium taking third.

Round 7 of the 1/8 BRCA Onroad National Championship was held last weekend at the Mendip Raceway in the southern UK. 43 Drivers entered the event, Saturday was free practice all day, the track was damp in the morning but when the sun came out the traction really improved. Sunday was race day the weather was much better, after 4 rounds of qualifying Mark Green’s Serpent was the quickest taking TQ with Daniel Bancroft second and Andrew Hasting third. In the final, Mark took the lead from the start line and never looked back. This now gives Mark 3 TQ’s and wins in this years Championship. Bancroft finished second with Andrew Hasting taking third place.
The Italian WRC Contest was recently held on the Bientina circuit, upcoming host of the Italian Championship. Team XRAY would dominate the WRC event as team driver Martini Francesco buried the field taking a massive win in the Modified TC class over Vignolini Gabriele and Montagnani Matteo. In the Stock TC class, XRAY would once again prevail as Puleo Marco would lead an XRAY top 5 sweep. Borgogni Tiziano and Emanuele Agnoletti would finish out the podium for the class. Read more…
Last weekend was held the final round of 1/8th nitro onroad Dutch Nationals in Gouda. In the Nomac Class it would be the REDS Racing team driver, Benny Ciere, who would power his way to the front for a final round win, and championship victory. Gert Machon and Ruud Knoester finished up second and third for the day, but it would be Ruud Knoester and Koen Guerds who locked up second and third for the championship (a REDS Racing 1-2-3 championship sweep).
