The final round of the French 1/8 Onroad Championship took place this past weekend, held in Grenoble, France. 60 drivers were in attendance, with some great racing taking place throughout the entire event. In the end it would be Arnaud Mathieu who would take home the gold, with XRAY’s Thomas Eytard second, and Christophe Aigon finishing up third.
Round 3 of the Spanish 1/10 Onroad Championship took place this past weekend in Telde, Gran Canaria. The event was dominated by XRAY’s David Perez as he won all six rounds of qualifying for a solid TQ starting spot in the finals. David and his T4 went on to win not one, not two, but ALL THREE finals in dominating fashion. Such a performance awarded him the win over Toni Rheinhard and John Hernandez.
The final round of the French 1/10 Nitro Onroad Championship took place this past weekend in Vichy, France. The event brought about the faces of many top drivers, and made for a great weekend of racing. In the Elite Class it would be XRAY’s Michael Derderian who would drive his way to TQ in qualifying, just ahead of Basile Concialdi and Quentin Leroux. As the final got underway it was Leroux who jumped out to the lead taking the win, but Derderian held steady for a second place finish and the overall championship win! This is Michaels second consecutive French Championship win!

The gauge features slotted markers that slip over your shock shafts so that you can measure between 2mm-7.5mm of rebound (in 0.5mm increments). The first ever Essex Summer Series event took place this weekend at the Adur Model Car Club. Organised by the same team behind the popular Essex Winter Series indoor championship, the event had been put together after racers asked the team to take their concept to outdoor tracks to compliment the carpet season. The event was supported by CPD Racing, LRP, HPI and Strawberry Race Designs, along with Keep IT Simple. The Adur club had put in a huge amount of effort and the track was in perfect condition for the event. The organisers also brought in a huge marquee for everyone to pit in to create a fun and social atmosphere. Read more…
