    Viktor Wilck goes all Serpent for 2015

    Top Swedish driver, Viktor Wilck, has officially joined the Serpent racing team for his full 2015 racing campaign. Wilck joined Serpent in 2014 for 1/10 scale and 1/8 scale nitro onroad racing, but remained part of the Tamiya team for electric touring car racing. Today Serpent welcomes him aboard the electric, nitro, onroad, and offroad team for 2015!

    Hellquist & Trygg win Swedish Champs

    The Swedish Championship for 1/10 touring car and 1/12 modified classes were held in Örebro, on a track that was laid out on a tennis court in a big sports hall. The carpet was new and the layout was fast with a great flow through the corners. There was free practice the whole Friday. In the Saturday morning after 2 rounds of heat practice based on the 3 fastest laps in a row, Markus Hellquist set the pace in both 1/10 mod and 1/12 scale 0.537 seconds ahead of Niclas Nilsson in touring and 0.011 seconds ahead of Alexander Andersson in 1/12 scale. In 17,5t 1/10 touring stock Andreas Gillblad set the pace just 0.079 ahead of Daniel Trygg. Read more…

    Driver changes to spice up ETS Rd.2

    This weekend (6-8 Feb) Round 2 of the Yokomo Euro Touring Series travels to Muelheim-Kaerlich in Germany with the big interest of the weekend set to be on the debut performances of a number of the championship’s leading drivers who since Round 1 last December in the Czech Republic have switched teams. The most significant of these new signings is that of multiple ETS race winner Viktor Wilck. Racing with championship’s most winning manufacturer Tamiya Racing Factory as long as the ETS has been in existence, the Swede will strengthen Serpent’s aspirations to be a winner in the premiere class as he joins podium finisher Marc Fischer.With the German round again as it did last year breaking a new record in terms of the size of the event with over 420 entries, the other big debuts to watch will be those of Freddy Sudhoff and multiple World Championship finalist Elliot Harper.     XRAY is pleased to announce that the ETS F1 champion, German champion, and recent Snowbirds champion, Jan Ratheisky, will continue to be the part of the XRAY team in 2015. Jan has been a valuable member of the R&D team who participated on development and testing the X1 platform with which gained the title of ETS champion.     Serpent unveils S120 LTR 1/12 pancar

    Serpent has unveiled their new 1/12 scale S120 LTR pancar. The new car builds off of the successful S120 platform and features a new rear-central pivot system, new upper arms and steering blocks, additional side spring mounting locations, simplified shock tower system to lower the center of gravity, new rear pod brackets, and re-designed chassis.
