The 2019 edition of the Schumacher GP Italy was held at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Bolzano in a state of the art conference room supplemented by large pit spaces which provided great comfort for the numerous attendants. In the LMP Open Modified class it was Andy Murray (Schumacher) taking the win in front of his teammates Daniel Robins while the third place went to Mattia Dall’Oca.
The GT12, the largest class at the event, it was again back to back UK National Champion A.Murray who took the win after a super close and thrilling battle with Nathanael Goodban (Schumacher). Another British racer, Mark Fitzsimmons showed impressive consistency and speed throughout the weekend and rounded out the top 3.
In the Touring Car Stock class, Christian Stöckl (Schumacher) swept the race by taking the TQ, the fastest lap and the overall win in front of the Schumacher duo of Lorenzo Bigi and Martin Stöckl in second and third respectively.
The race was also incorporating the sixth and final round of the Italian GT12 Series 2019. Alessio Mota (Schumacher) came out on top of the overall ranking of the Series after a super close battle with his teammate M.Dall’Oca. Luca Tassinari (Schumacher) completed the final podium.
