The third round of XRS Greece was held at the Fanatix track in Athens in cold but sunny weather conditions. The Touring 13.5T Stock class was the most difficult class of the day with some drivers finishing within a second. Ioannis Nerantzis (XRAY) was very fast from the first qualifier when the track was still wet. He took the TQ and the win. XRAY duo of George Kalantzakis and Dennis Zogogiannis came in second and third respectively.
In the Touring Modified class, after different winners in every leg it was Chris Kidis (XRAY) who managed to take the win from Sotiris Diamadis (XRAY) while the former XRS Nitro Stock Champion Panos Theodoropoulos came in third.
In the 1/10 GT class, George Kazoglou (XRAY) brought home the win from Chris Katsigiannis (XRAY) in second followed very closely by Petros Drakopoulos (XRAY) in third. C.Kidis won the 1/12 class in front of his friend S.Diamadis.
C.Kidis won also the Formula class in front of Nikos Nikolakopoulos (XRAY) while S.Diamadis came in third.
In the Nitro Stock class, S.Diamadis was able to take the win from Capricorn duo of Apostolis Zapantiotis, who won the last 20-minute leg after a very tough race with S.Diamadis and Bill Ventouris.
The most popular class was the 1/8 GT class. Alex Piperoglou (Mugen) took again the win followed by Akis Lignos (HB Racing) who snatched the runner-up spot from Chris Tarounas (SWORKz) for only 0,6 seconds gap.
