XRS Germany Rd3 Report


Last weekend was held the third round of the XRAY Racing Series Germany at the RC Land in Heilbronn. In the Stock Touring class, the field was dominated by Tom Haake (XRAY) from the first heat to the final run. Despite some explosive situations in the finals, T.Haake was able to prevail in all finals and drove a safe victory. It became all the more exciting behind it. XRAY trio of Marc Stübben, Jens Haller and Philipp Kremer fought for the podium. After three thrilling finals, it was M.Stübben on P2 and P.Kremer on P3, who followed Tom on the podium. The B-Final was won by Jörg Baldes, who only made his way from the distant Nürburgring in the morning.

In Formula, Daniel Schober (XRAY) made it clear in the qualifications that victory is only about him. He entered the race as TQ with 3 clear wins. In the race, he left no doubt about his performance and won all 3 finals by a wide margin. Behind him Hartmut Rose (XRAY), Alexander Olah (XRAY)and Johannes Fechner (XRAY) fought for the podium. Until the last race, the podium was highly competitive. After a mistake by H.Rose in the final, J.Fechner could take the 2nd place in the daily ranking. As 3rd, H.Rose finished ahead of A.Olah.

In 1/12, after the qualies, Alexander Seitter (XRAY) was on the pole. In the first race he was able to convert his poles into a victory. In an exciting second race Niklas Mährle (XRAY) was able to win in the last round. In run 3 A.Seitter was able to convert his poles into a victory and to translate the overall victory ahead of N.Mährle and Olaf Engelmann (XRAY).

In GT qualies A.Seitter secured the pole. After the first two finals, his victory was already confirmed and he was able to calmly watch as Haroun Schobner (Godspeed), Rene Brosi (XRAY) and Alain Levy fought for the podium among themselves. At the end of the day it was H.Schobner who secured the 2nd place ahead of R.Brosi. In the B final Martin Damrath prevailed.
