The third round of the XRS Slovenia was held at the Genius Ring facility in Medeuzza. Drivers from Austria, Croatia, Germany, France, Italy and Slovenia attended the race including special guest, the current Formula World Champion Jan Ratheisky (XRAY), who offered tech support to all XRAY drivers during the event. The race was held in 1/10 Touring 21.5, 1/10 F1 21.5 and 1/10 Touring 13.5 classes and all classes were run with mandatory XRS motors and HUDY tyres. In the Touring Car 13.5T class, French driver Bernard-Alain Arnaldi (XRAY) took the overall TQ after a close fight with J.Ratheisky. In the first two Mains, after some great battles between B.A.Arnaldi and J.Ratheisky, each driver had won a final which means that the 3rd final would decide who would be the overall winner. On such a tight track where it was almost impossible to overtake, B.A.Arnaldi kept the lead until the end. J.Ratheisky came in second and Edoardo Repetti (XRAY) in third.
In the F1 21.5T class it was J.Ratheisky who set the TQ followed by Matej Dobnikar (XRAY) and Herfried Pucher (Shepherd). The finals saw a fierce battle between J.Ratheisky and M.Dobnikar and in the end M.Dobnikar was able to win the last two finals to take the win. J.Ratheisky and H.Pucher came in second and third respectively.
In the Touring Car 21.5T class, Mirco Bordin swept the race by taking the TQ and then by winning in front of Samulele Papi (Yokomo) in second and David Marosa (ARC) in third.
