HUDY Indoor Championship report

The sixth running of the HUDY Indoor Champs presented by ProLevel RC in their new location in the Chesterfield mall. ProLevel RC’s newest venue is located one of St. Louis’s biggest indoor malls with hundreds of people walking by everyday. A perfect location to get some much needed exposure for our hobby of RC Racing. It is also home to the 2019 ROAR Carpet On-Road Nationals March 7-10. Modified Touring Car is always the premier class of any event and it saw Chris Adams (XRAY) taking the TQ and win from his team mate Paul Lemieux in second and Josh Cyrul in third.

1/12 modified was a lightly attended class but it was RC America/XRAY driver Max Kuenning that would set TQ and lead the entire race tone-to-tone for the victory. J.Cyrul came in second while Mike Pulfer (XRAY) rounded out the top 3.

The Touring Car 17.5 class was true test of who could keep the cleanest run. With slight taps from the leader it was RC America/XRAY driver Dan Hamann that lead halfway through the race up until the very last lap where he tapped slightly and that let Bill Sydor by for the win. Brent Klingforth came in third.

In the TC 21,5 class it was Bill Sydor with the win in front of Eric Jones and Steve Smith (XRAY) in second and third respectively.
