Last weekend the fourth round of the Portugese 200mm Nationals was held at Vila Real, 3 weeks before the European Champioship it was a good warm-up. After the qualification rounds it was Spanish driver Eduardo Escadon who took the overall TQ from Carlos Manuel (XRAY) in second. After the semis Escadon started on pole position for the final with Manuel behind him. The final was very challenging. To avoid hitting the Escadon while he was trying to overtake him, Manuel was caught by the driver in third and in the next corner he hit him and went down on the 4th place. In the end of the straight Manuel managed to overtake both drivers from the inside. Until the first refuel Escadon and Manuel were making the same time per lap and kept the same distance and both refuel at the same exact time. Thanks to a very fast refueling, Manuel took the lead and managed to keep in front of Escadon. Unfortunately Escadon will have a problem a mechanical issue, which benefited Juan Hidalgo Garrido and Nuno Duraes in second and third.
