Italian Touring 200mm Nats report

The Italian Touring 200mm Nationals were held in Fontanellato in perfect weather conditions. The Touring Modified class Gabriele Berselli (XRAY) won first two qualifications and Alessio Menicucci (XRAY) won the last two. Thanks to better time Berselli took the overall TQ. Finals were thrilling and full of a fair show. Menicucci won the first final passing Berselli in one of the last laps. In the second final, Menicucci did a mistake and Berselli took an easy win. In the last final Berselli did a mistake which allowed Menicucci to overtook him and take the overall win. Alessio Tolomelli, Fabrizio Manicardi (XRAY) and Luca Torreggiani (XRAY) were fighting all finals and in the end it was Manicardi who rounded out the top 3.

Rookies Results:

In this new class it was Alex Cresti (XRAY) who took the overall TQ and the win, followed by the XRAY duo of Alberto Rossetti and Lorenzo Tagliatti.

Formula Results:

Alessandro Arisi (XRAY) dominated qualifications in the Formula class, followed by Gian Franco Bola and Valerio Stagni. After three tight finals Arisi was able to confirm his leadership and took the win from Guido Carbognani and Valerio Stagni in second and third respectively.

13.5 Blinky Results:

Davide Campanini took the overall TQ followed by Guido Carbognani and Luca Giovannoni. Davide confirmed in finals and took the overall win from Giovannoni and Carbognani.

Pan Car Results:

Marco Donadelli was the man to beat in the Pan Car class. After qualifications he took the TQ followed by Vincenzo Zangari and Yuri Tagliatti (XRAY). Donadelli then took the win but it was Michele Rossetti Donadelli (XRAY) who finished in second and Zangari in third. XRAY duo of Tagliatti and Emanuele Cresti rounded out the top 5.
