Last weekend was held the first round of the Pro Stock Series at the WMC-Wiesbaden track, Germany. The track that will also host the Pro-Stock-Series final later that year saw exciting and fair races under beautiful weather conditions. As expected, the 1/10 Nitro Touring classe saw a close battle for the pole position between Alexander Kien and Marcus May (Shepherd). After 4 rounds of qualifying Kien took the overall TQ in front of May and David Ranft. In the final Kien had to defend himself from the start against May, who could improve his pace for the final slightly. In places three and four followed experienced David Ranft and Nils Heimlich (Shepherd). Eventually, May managed to slip past Kien who opened the door just for a moment. When Kien had to retire after an accident a few laps later, May was able to expand his lead and never looked back. The second spot went to Ranft who drove a solid race and had no problems except for a flame out during refueling. Third place went to rookie Nils Heimlich (Shepherd) as a reward for a flawless race.
