Nitro-West-Masters report


The 10th anniversary race of the Nitro-West-Maters was recently held at the completely resurfaced Rallye Club Haltern e.V. ADAC “Lippe-Ring” track with 66 entries. With limited tracktime on saturday it was up to the drivers to find a good setup for the ever improving traction of the new asphalt. In the 1/8 Hobby-Cup class, also with stock-engines from Picco and Novarossi, it was Matthias Günther (Team Shepherd) who came out fastest.

In the 1/10 Hobby-Cup class, where mandatory stock-engines from Picco and Novarossi being used, it was the Shepherd trio of Hermann-Josef Fuchs, Guido Burghartz and Florian Düppe who took the first three positions.

In the 1/10 open class it was Thilo Tödtmann (Team Shepherd) taking the highest step on the podium. Taking the overall TQ and also the win by somewhat five seconds in front of Melvin Diekmann (WRC) and Rene Püpke (Team Shepherd) in second and third respectively.
