Hamon was now leading and Bardetta moved up to 2nd with Moylan now applying the pressure to regain the spot. Hamon had an engine flame out with 7mins to go which moved Bardetta into the lead with Moylan only a couple of seconds behind. Hamon dropped back to 3rd and ran out of fuel again with 30 secs to go after battling back up to 2nd place. Bardetta took the win and the NSW State Title, Moylan 2nd and Hamon 3rd.
