This past weekend was held the XRS Spain at Asoger track in Getafe, close to Madrid, Spain. The event saw a good field of drivers in Formula, Blinky Stock, and Modified classes. In the Modified class, XRAY driver Alexander Hagberg was able to TQ, and go on to win three A-finals as well in challenging cold and low grip conditions from his team mate David Perez Perez and Ramon Guasch Palma in second and third respectively.
The Formula class was dominated from start to end by XRAY’s Jan Ratheisky who converted his TQ position into a win in front of Paco Macias in second and Pedro Poco Gomez in third.
The Blinky stock class was a much closer encounter, with three drivers having the chance to win the race after two finals. The TQ man Chicha Rioja De Diego eventually had to settle for third, after some close battles with Ratheisky and Carlos Fernandez Espinosa. Jan came out the best of the three with two A-final wins, to take the overall victory.
