Round two of the Rebels race was held in Trebešín, Prague last weekend. The carpet track was very fast with many fast chicanes and the grip was progressively raising up. In Touring Modified it was XRAY’s Matěj Šulc who took the overall TQ after wining all qualification rounds. Ultimately it was Matěj with the win in first two A-mains from his team mate Marcel dostál and Yokomo’s Petr Grof. Last final was deciding, who will take the second position. Petr was closing on Marcel, but Marcel was holding his position to secure second place finish.
The Touring Stock class promised nice battles between Awesomatix’s Aleš Pelikán, XRAY’s Karel Kratochvíl, XRAY’s Šimon Horák and Kuba Plechač. It was Karel Kratochvíl who took the TQ by two seconds in front of Aleš. Finals were very hard for Karel, because Aleš was really pushing on him. Thanks to few small mistakes from Aleš, Karel took the overall win in front of Aleš and Šimon.
In the Formula class XRAY driver Šimon Horák took the overall TQ from his team mate Jan Kanina. In the finals it was a same story as in qualies. Šimon was able to win all three finals in front of Jan and XRAY’s Míra Percl.
The 1/12th scale class attracted a total of seven racers. XRAY’s Marcel Dostál was in the lead right from the beginning, but because some technical problems he didn’t finish three out of four qualifying rounds. In the finals he made a clean sweep to take the win from XRAY’s Ralf Drashler in second and Roche driver Radovan Konopík in third.
The GT class attracted only 3 drivers. Roche driver Radovan Konopík would sweep the class by wining alla qualifying rounds and the finals from the XRAY duo of Pavel Hejzlar and Ondřej Kohoutek, in second and third respectively.
