This past weekend was held the 38th Annual US Indoor Championship in Independence, Ohio. This event is always held in a hotel ballroom in the Cleveland, OH area the weekend following the Thanksgiving Holiday in the U.S. This year drew something around 496 entries making it the biggest on-road race of the year. A couple classes saw 50-60 entries, but competition was fierce in all classes. This year also saw the return of foam tire TC as an exhibition class, which was a lot of fun to watch. The track was overall technical with some tricky dots and curbs that could prove costly if you got on them too much. In the TC 21.5 Handout class it was XRAY driver Rob Love who took the win from Awesomatix driver Mike Wise and XRAY’s Eric Schneeweis in second and third respectively.
In the 1/12 17.5 class CRC driver Andrew Knapp managed to take the win in front of this team mate Jeff Dayger in second and XRAY driver Craig Xavier in third.
