Pro-Stock-Series finale report


Last weekend was held the final round of the Pro-Stock-Series at Minidrom Ettlingen track, Germany. A total of 52 drivers from three countries fought for the overall championship and a banquet together with the popular big raffle rounding up the first day.

In the 1/8 Stock class were mandatory 5-port engines from Novarossi and Picco as well as a controlled bodyshell by Brilliant RC are used by all drivers. Shepherd driver Jürgen Bähr took the TQ honors in front of Peter Poldvere and young Shepherd driver David Kröger, the latter becoming a regular podium finisher in the Western Divison while still in his first nitro season.

After 45 minutes of intense racing-action, experienced Jürgen took the win with a comfortable lead in front of David and Shepherd’s Markus Lehr who gave his successful comeback after some time off from racing.

With the second place enough for David Kröger to be crowned as new Pro-Stock Champion 2017 in the 1/8 class while Shepherd’s Markus Friedrich and Norbert Hügel rounded out the podium.

In the 1/10th stock class also with stock-engines from both italian brands and Brilliant RC bodyshells the overall Championship has been won by Shepherd driver Florian Düppe in front of Alexander Kien and Shepherd’s Patrick Werner.
