Last weekend was held the 4th and final round of the French 1/8 Elite class Championship at the ARCC track in Val de Reuil near Louviers. This round was going to decide who would be crowned French Champion since the 5th round will not take place, the Worlds eliminating this round. Qualifying would go to Mugen’s Romain Picard and the Super Pole will be won by Serpent driver Anthony Abisset.

At the main final start, a crash between Arnaud Mathieu and Thomas Desmaries relegate them last. At the head of the race, a big fight broke out between Picard and Louis who had a different strategy since he will have to change the tyres once more than the others which will make him lose the chances to take the victory. Desmaries goes up like a rocket and even manages to overtake Picard in the last lap that has no tyre at the end of the race. Leo Arnold, leading the French Championship until then takes a pebble in the parabolic while he was 3rd behind Desmaries at 5 minutes from the end. Finally after a surge of madness Desmaries took the victory and title followed by Picard in second and Louis in third.
