Luke Lee wins at BRCA F1 Nationals Rd2

This past weekend ws held the second round of the Formula 1 BRCA National Championships at Aldershot. Qualifying started cold and dry but it was tricky to find grip but as the weather warmed up the lap times dropped. Current UK F1 Champion and championship leader after the first round, Luke Lee, took a convincing TQ winning all four qualifying rounds and Damian Giddins qualified third just missing out on second by a tie break on times.

The first final saw Luke take an early lead whilst Damian battled with second place. Luke’s lead was cut by an unfortunate incident with a back marker, however he had enough of a gap to resume in the lead and maintained it till the end of the race. Damian came in in third. The second final was a repeat of the first (without the back marker incident) Luke sailed off to a comfortable lead and Damion used all his skill to try and steal second place, but in the end had to settle with third.
