REDS have introduced the new M7 WCS DIAMOND EDITION, a 7 special porting extreme power 1/8 on-road engine based on REDS M7WCS 3.0 engine. REDS decided to improve the previous M7WCS On-Road engine with a new DLC coated crankshaft, a new carburetor, a new cooling head and REDS anti-dirt sealing system.
The Italian company provided the all-new DIAMOND EDITION engine with a DLC Coated crankshaft and backplate for improved engine durability. The crankshaft can last approximately 3 times more than a standard crankshaft thanks to the extreme hardness of the diamond coating. Even the conrod life is lengthened about 50%. The REDS On Road carburetor has been redesigned to get greater idle stability, more precise tuning and improved power delivery.
Furthermore, REDS provided the M7 DIAMOND with a brand new cooling head which features an new design for improved air flow to increase the cooling and guarantee a low gravity center. The new cooling head is lighter than the standard ones.
REDS cooling head anti-dirt sealing system keeps the engine clean in a critical area between the cooling head and crankcase. The redesigned crankcase provides easier maintenance and a cleaner engine for longer life. REDS advise to use the new engine with 2113 pipe and L manifold and only with REDS original spare parts and accessories.
