XRS UK Rd6 report


Past weekend was held the round six of the CWIC XRS. It was a fantastic atmosphere which has been foster by the club and representatives of the XRAY Racing Series the club make a great team and everything runs like clockwork no dramas at all everyone thoroughly enjoys their race day in relative comfort. The track layout was once again a real crowd pleaser every track at this years series has been exceptionally well received and continues to generate greater levels of interest every round.

Super Touring seen Olly Jefferies further cement his dominance on the class with another back to back finals win in round 6! Jon Seals followed Olly at the Finnish line claiming second and building further on his 4th place last round BGR’s Tom Green took the 3rd sport on the podium!

Pro Stock seen Zak continue his perfect serious so far! Marcus Askell falling in behind Zak and BGR’s Dan Blake making up the podium!

Formula had a bit of a mix up on the podium this round the larger field at this round made for a great race and Dan managed to top the podium followed by BGR’s Lee brothers in 2nd and 3rd!

LMP 12th: Daniel Sparrow toped the podium with Sam Exton keeping up his great record of podium finishes and the CWICS very own James Alexander made up the 3rd spot!

GT12 once again well populated class even after the success of the GT12 Worlds we had a great turnout! Tom Hampson locked Chris out of the top spot with BGR’s Jonathan Simblet taking 3rd
