Luxembourg Nationals Race Series Rd2 report

Luxembourg Nationals Race Series Rd2 podium TC

Race report by David Ehrbar:

Last weekend Viktor and I went to Luxembourg for the round 2 of the Nationals race Series in the F1 class. We also met Steve Deblaere, who attended the race in the F1 class. For us the race was a final test with the Project 4-X car before the ETS race that will be held at the same track two weeks later.

Despite a forecast for changeable weather conditions, which stopped many other drivers from attending the race, we stayed there, and were rewarded: on Sunday there was perfect weather with some sunshine and without rain. We made some nice progress with the new car, so Viktor could easily qualify in first place, while I could start the race from third place. We continued to work on the setup during the whole race.

So the finals went very well. I could pass Lucas Urbain at the start every time, followed by hard but always fair battles in all the finals. Viktor could pull away in all finals, while I fought with Lucas. In the end Viktor secured our first win with the Project 4-X car in a dominant way, while I was able to complete the result with the second place.

In the F1 class Steve Deblaere could finish in second place.
