The Western Australian State Titles were held in Kalgoorie this past weekend. 69 drivers gathered in the gold mining town in the outback. Majority of the drivers traveled north from Perth (host of the 2018 1/8 IFMAR Worlds), some 590 kilometers away. This was the first time the race has been held outside the metropolitan area. The State Titles are the biggest annual race meet to be held in the state each year, and it’s the race drivers most want to win. 3 titles were on the line over the weekend, the coveted 1/8 IC Buggy, 1/8 IC Truggy and 1/8 EP8 Buggy.
