With the announcement of the 2015 IFMAR 1/10 Offroad World Championship being held on an artificial surface (NOT dirt), the popularity in carpet and astro offroad racing has begun to rise in America. The heartland of America has received their newest indoor carpet offroad facility recently, known as Polk County R/C Raceway (PCRC). The track is located in the rural town of Bolivar, Missouri, and is rumored to be the ‘Worlds Testing Grounds’ for several major players who call the midwest home, such as Kyosho’s Jared Tebo.
To celebrate the opening of the new facility, PCRC has announced the ‘PCRC Grand Opening Race’ onSeptember 19, 2015. The event will include open practice Friday, and a full day of racing on Saturday. In addition to the traditional race program, the event will also include a 50/50 Raffle, 2-Main Race, and more.
