After a successful prototype debut, ORB Racing is proud to announce the official release of the FF210 Conversion Kit for the Team Durango DEX210 1/10 2wd buggy. The unique conversion takes your everyday DEX210 rear-wheel drive buggy and turns it into a front-wheel drive creation. The conversion is ideal for low to medium bit surfaces such as dirt, outdoor clay, grass, and wet astroturf. The new conversion will be available for pre-order August 25, 2015.

What makes the FF210 unique?
The front-wheel-drive concept offers higher cornering speeds than rear-wheel-drive buggies whilst also maintaining better stability, resulting in a car that is both consistent and quick. In addition to that, the majority of the car is made with state-of-the-art materials and production techniques, amongst which the use of additive manufacturing (3D printing).

What’s included in the kit?
In the kit are nylon 3D components (dyed black), carbon fibre composite plates, a clear polycarbonate bodyshell and some small parts and hardware. In addition with a (separately available) Team Durango DEX210V2 donor vehicle and electronics, you can build the FWD Buggy. With addition of a few parts, the conversion kit is also compatible with the DEX210.

What does it cost?
The price of the conversion kit comes in at €350. Spare parts are available separately, as well as several option parts to increase adjustability of the car setup and enable maximum performance of the car over a wide variety of conditions. A full price list is attached at the end of this post, and it’s also available by email.

Where can I buy it?
The kit and parts are directly available from us by email: Orbracing@gmail.com – The first batch will be on pre-order, from there on we will stock the products. We are also working to get a webshop online as soon as possible.

When is the car available?
Pre-order is open until the 25st of August. We will then start production. It is expected that the first batch of kits will be dispatched to the customers around the 30th of September.
