702 RC Raceway in Las Vegas, Nevada is among one of the nation’s top indoor offroad racing facilities. Whether it be the facility, the track, or the people…702 is known as a favorite place to race by many. Last week, the social media world was shocked to hear that long-time owner and operator Pepto Garrett would be stepping away from 702 Raceway. Many believed this meant the end for 702, but today we have received exclusive news that 702 R/C Raceway is still alive and well!
The facility has been taken over by the Battie family, as they are the new owners and operators of Vegas’s beloved indoor R/C facility. The track will be re-opening this Friday, August 7, for practice at noon and racing at 6pm! Dwayne Battie is said to have exciting plans to make 702 even better.
The Battie family says, “We are very excited to work with everyone in the industry and look forward to meeting all of the racers!”
