Racers beat the heat at 2015 Willamette Valley Classic

The summer kick-off race at Dave’s RC Tracks located in Hubbard, Oregon was once again underway last weekend over the blistering hot June 26th through the 28th. With temperatures reaching near 100 degrees Fahrenheit all weekend long, racers were all trying to dial in traction as well as figuring out ways to beat the heat.

With Dave’s running the classic format of open practice on Friday, 4 qualifying runs on Sat, and triple A-mains on Sunday, the vibe is always laid back, relaxed, fun and full of competitive racing with a group of friends. The track layout is a modified version of the previous layout with simple pipe and jump changes, but still making it feel like an all-new track that flows and is a blast to drive on.
