On May 16th, the final round of the inaugural Northern California Racing League season concluded at Norcal Hobbies in San Jose, California. The NCRL series was put together to showcase the level of talent within the region and brought out the best of the best in Northern California and Nevada. The opening season of the NCRL focused on indoor tracks, and the championship was appropriately named the Indoor Triple Crown. The three stops made were at LSR Speedway in Sacramento, Outback Raceway in Chico, and Norcal Hobbies in San Jose.
Team Powers driver Dan Zaring was able to clinch the Stadium Truck Modified championship at Norcal. Dan came into the final race tied for 3rd in the championship and after finishing with 2 2nds and a 3rd around the technical yet flowing layout, brought home the overal series title. Dan accomplished this feat with his Team Powers equipped T5M, running the Team Powers Radon ESC, XBooster Capacitor and the Actinium 10.5t motor.
