Round 3 of the 1/8 Onroad British National Series was held last weekend at the Mendip Raceway in the South East corner of England. Saturday practice day was cool but dry, around 40 took advantage of the dry conditions. This was the first good testing day in 2015 in the UK. Current Championship leader Andrew Hastings set the early pace with Andrew North on the same pace. At the end of Saturday’s practice the top 10 drivers were only separated by a very small amount.
Mark Green once again dominated the qualifying with his Novarossi powered SERPENT 977WC. In the main A Final Mark lead from the start taking the win with Tim Wood’s OS Powered 977WC second and John Carr taking 3rd place with his OS powered 977WC. All of the top three cars were using Enniti tyres. A great result for Team Serpent UK over the weekend with a complete clean sweep of the A Final podium.
