Unfortunate news reaches us that German distribution powerhouse Robbe Modellsport have declared insolvency (bankruptcy) – according to official paperwork obtained the company ‘Robbe Modellsport GmbH & Co. KG’ was placed into insolvency on Friday 6th February – with assets frozen and an administrator to be appointed it marks a sad chapter to a company tracing it’s roots back to 1924. The news comes some 9 months after they acquired Kyosho Germany.

Orders of the applicant are effective only with the approval of the temporary administrator . The third party debtor is prohibited to pay to the applicant and to offset their own assets with cash receipts in the accounts of the applicant. The provisional insolvency administrator is authorized to collect bank deposits and other receivables of the applicant as well as receive incoming funds . The garnishee will be asked only with respect to such arrangement to provide (§ 23 I p 3 Insolvency Act ) .
