Last weekend hosted the final round of the MuroBuggy-AROT Cup 2014. After two days of serious racing under gorgeous Polish weather conditions, the champions were crowned in all 5 divisions.
Marcin Maliński (Serpent) dominated electric 1/8 scale buggy class by winning all three events of this short series ahead of Jeremi Urbanowicz (Kyosho) and Michał Karpiński (Serpent)- one of the most experienced local drivers who completed the podium.
Michał Pokora (XRAY) took overall win in nitro buggy class ahead of Borys Nichke (Serpent) and Paweł “Ntkowca” Hert (Xray).
In the highly competitive 2WD Buggy class Wojciech Borkowski (TeamC) took win ahead of Maciej Nowak (Durango). Both drivers fought to the bitter end. In last A-main after Maciej made a mistake, Wojciech took the lead and became the overall champion. The podium was completed by Krzysztof Simanowicz (Losi).
The 4WD buggy class was true “one man show”. Dejan Bosnjaković (Durango) TQ-ed and won all three rounds, taking the overall win ahead of Michał “Forever Second” Pawlak (TeamC) and Krzysztof Jaśkowiak (Kyosho).
This year marked the first season and first title in SC10 class, where all drivers ran Team Associated SC10 RS brushless cars. Bartosz Szymankiewicz won by tenth’s of the rank points ahead of Krzysztof Pick and Błażej Ejsmont who completed the podium.
