It’s no secret that major distributors/dealers of products often receive a heads up of new products coming out before the public is aware. With that being said, every once in awhile one of those new products is ‘leaked’ to the public before they are officially released by the manufacturer.
Today photos and details of an all-new AKA 1/10 buggy tire, known as the ‘Chain Link’, has been revealed in such manner. The Chain Link features a bi-level, interlocking tread pattern that creates support for the tire’s carcass and treads. This additional support leads to more consistent traction in the corners and is designed to provide great on-throttle stability. The Chain Link is designed to provide a well balance of forward drive and side bite, making this an ideal tire for hard packed or blue groove tracks, indoors and out. Set to be released in AKA’s championship winning Clay, Super Soft, and Soft compound as tires with Red EVO inserts, and the same as all AKA tires, are proudly designed and made in the USA.
