Tom Cockerill

This weekend was the 9th running of the PetitRC Race in Terrugum, Portugal. As long time sponsors of the event, Schumacher drivers Tom Cockerill and David Poulter were in attendance, along with drivers from Poland, Holland, France, Germany, Spain & Portugal. The track was a permanently laid outdoor astro track, with plenty of jumps and a good flow, which made for some great close racing.

The event format was for free practice on Friday, 2wd Qualifying & Finals Saturday, and 4wd Sunday, allowing plenty of track time for all the drivers.

2wd qualifying was lead by Tom Cockerill, taking TQ followed by Fábio Ramos and David Poulter completing the top three. After the triple leg finals the top 3 would remain in qualifying position with Cockerill taking the win.
