The final round of the 1/8 Onroad Spanish Nationals was hosted by the Elche facility. Serpent’s Nacho Lopez, while having no chance at winning the overall championship title, kicked off the weekend setting the pace with a dominating TQ performance in qualifying. He experienced engine troubles and penalties in the semi-final, but was able to work his way to the final, starting 4th on the grid. After a clean start he quickly made work of the competition and found himself back out front. Despite the wet weather conditions that developed during the final, Lopez went on to win by 5 laps on the field. Former Spanish Champion, Victor Gonzalez, finished second, and Vicente Eres took home third.
