The Essex Summer Series moves to Adur

The EWS Events team have today announced that their first outdoor event, the 2014 Essex Summer Series, has been moved to the Adur circuit on the outskirts of Brighton, Sussex. The event was set to be held at the Brookland Raceway circuit in Kent, but regrettably the facility ran out of time to make the track upgrades and changes necessary to host an event on this scale.

Thankfully, the Adur Model Car Club offered their facility as an alternative, which the Organizing Team were more than happy to accept. The race will remain on the same date of the 13th and 14th of September.

The EWS Events team explained, “We know a lot of drivers were looking forward to getting back to racing at Brookland Raceway, which is one of the nicest facilities in the UK. However, we know the Adur club have a fantastic track which will suit our race event, and the club have proven that they can host great events. We look forward to our first Essex Summer Series event and hope that we can get back to Brookland Raceway in the near future”.
