LRP driver Martin Bayer dominated the Astra Nitro Cross by a clean TQ and win in both the Nitro Buggy and Electric Buggy classes. The Astra Nitro Cross is a highly prestigious 1/8 offroad buggy event in the Czech Republic with many of the national and international top drivers attending. It is held on the beautiful and very challenging track of the ARC Slavkov club in the city of Slavkov u Brna. This year’s edition saw a total of more than 100 drivers racing in the Nitro Buggy and Electric Buggy classes.
To cut a long story short: LRP driver Martin Bayer was the man of the weekend. In the Electric Buggy class, Martin took the TQ spot ahead of Klemens Heiss and Karel Novotný. He consequently dominated also in all of the three A-finals and conquered a clean 3 out of 3. The final classification saw Martin Bayer ahead Klemens Heiss and Karel Novotný.
Despite the changing and challenging weather and track conditions, Martin could rely perfectly on his LRP equipped car. The powerful performance of the LRP 1/8 brushless combo consisting of LRP Dynamic 8 motor and LRP iX8 speedo was once again impressing in a high-class competition. LRP on top in a 1/8 E-Buggy race – a common result in many national and international races in the last months. In the Nitro Buggy class, Martin drove to victory with his LRP powered Xray car. After having secured the TQ in style, he also ruled the final. In the end, he crossed the finishing line first ahead of Dominic Bauer in second and Martin Wollanka in third. The incredible power resources of the LRP ZZ.21C Ceramic Nitro Competition Engine proved to be a big advantage for the LRP drivers. Powered by its consistent performance, three drivers relying on the LRP ZZ.21C Ceramic finished in the top ten (1st Martin Bayer, 7th Karel Hajek, 9th David Kukla). In addition, Martin fuelled his car with the LRP Energy Power Fuel.
