Associated do the Ryan Double!
NeoBuggy reports – “Ryan Cavalieri took a deserved win having kept everything running whilst others fell by the wayside. The final looked to be between Tebo, Cavalieri and Maifield, with Tebo running into problems with a suspected servo arm coming loose, this cost Tebo any shot at a win, this left Maifield and Cavalieri to fight it out, with all the other runners a couple of laps behind. The pair came in with 20mins left for fuel, first Cav then Maifield, however Maifield exited too hot and ended up off the track next to a watering cone, nonetheless he drove well and was cruelly denied a shot at the win when he flamed out. This left Cavalieri a massive lead, and despite Maifield getting out on track again quickly, he was a lap down. The final 10-15 mins belonged to Dakotah Phend and Cody King, the pair putting on a great show for the spectators, eventually young Dakotah clinched the final podium spot. Cavalieri kept everything running and took the 2011 Nats win.”
