Jared Tebo takes TQ at Neo11

“Going into the last round of qualifying it appeared the TQ momentum pendulum was swinging towards Ryan Lutz, and so it seemed right up until the last couple of laps in Heat 15, Lutz had a 4 sec lead, only for Maifield to claw it back and steal the Q6 TQ from him by two and a half tenths, Maifield crossed the line first, but Lutz just missed out on TQ’ing Q6 and therefore the whole event. A lucky break for Jared in the last round which actually saw him have his first blip of the race, posting the 29th fastest time. Its fair to say that Tebo, Lutz & Maifield appear to have a pace which not many others can match, Cavalieri in 4th overall ended up 10secs off a 13 lap run but still put himself infront of Mr Consistent of the race, Darren Bloomfield – best of the non-Americans. Neil Cragg in 6th underlines the AE RC8B’s improved pace with three AE’s in the top 6. Batlle in 7th is pacing himself for the longer mains, one of the few drivers on the ProCircuit tyre but doing well, last year’s TQ Adam Drake isn’t quite hitting the heights of previous years but nonetheless doing well. David Ronnefalk won the junior race last night and will be looking to get a good getaway in the Dash 4 Cash, Tessmann likewise, and top Frenchy goes to Jerome Aigoin and the last man to make tonights Dash 4 Cash show is none other than the World Champ himself, Cody King. A day that started off cold and chilly but is winding down with the lower mains in spring sunshine here in the English countryside. Be sure to tune into LiveRC to watch the 10min Dash 4 Cash in about an hour’s time.” Overall Qualifying
