LRP reports – “Attending for the very first time a World Championship race using all products out of one hand (car, engine, fuel and tires), LRP sensationally performed on the highest level. Team driver Jörn Neumann – in absolute top shape – phenomenally reached the A-Main. It’s been only 3 years, since LRP entered the 1/8 offroad scene as a newcomer and, after only very short time at this years World Championships in Thailand, established on the same level as other big names playing in this game since a very long time. After top results at national races, the German national championships and the European Championships, LRPs high-end competition buggy S8 BXR evo proofed its perfomance amongst the best drivers in the world. Now we have one more brand to count on this hard-fought market: LRP. The event venue of the IFMAR OR8 WC 2010 was the premises of the Pattaya R/C Power Boat Club in Thailand. And as the name might indicate, the club is mainly a club for R/C boats. But what the organizers created was absolutely outstanding. The track was on highest level with big jumps, off-camber corners and changing surfaces. Even the best drivers struggled in the beginning with the track, saying that this is one of the most challenging tracks in the world. The setting of the car had to be 100% perfect otherwise consistent lap times would not have been possible. The 180 drivers were pushed to absolute limit with setup and driving.”
