“Billy Easton has been working on this new project, since the release of the Cobra Buggy. The Cobra-T shares many parts and design elements of the buggy, but still the Truggy is different in many aspects and requires quite a selection of specific parts as well. The larger wheel/tyres and different body-type style, together with longer wheel-base do require intensive testing to find again the right balance in the car, correct level of grip and be very good on large jumps too. The end result is a very sleek and “low” design, with a perfect left to right and front to back balance, making it a very nimble car and easy to push very hard out on the track. Acceleration and jumping are awesome, as you can also see in the short video we posted a few days ago, check out our SerpentMRC Channel on You-tube too. The Serpent Cobra-T will already feature the new radio-box design as will be applied and available for the buggy in few weeks time too. Gear-ratio for diffs/clutch are fully aimed at pure Truggy racing. Other then shown in the images, the Serpent Cobra-T will most likely feature the CNC machined 7075 T6 shocktowers, instead of the carbon ones, as standard. Carbon ones as optional. Full specs on the car to follow in next weeks, with more images and a designer interview with Billy, before he heads out to the World Championship in Thailand. Release of the Serpent Cobra-T is planned for early december 2010.”
