HB reports – “Team driver and HPI Europe employee, Mick Farrell, dominated the BRCA 1/12th Sports Modified class with the HB Cyclone 12X! With 6 rounds taking place across the country the racers enjoyed the hospitality and the facilities of six different clubs, Crewe, Newbury, Tamworth, Plymouth, Maritime and Chesterfield. It took Mick 5 rounds of the Championship to secure the title – with wins at Crewe and Tamworth and runners-up places at Newbury and Maritime it was enough to wrap it up with a round to spare. Mick took three TQ’s along the way, too! To top off a great season Mick also qualified for the Spec Class European Championships A final, with a 6th place finish being the result. This was a massive highlight after a season spent working towards this event. Mick comments, ‘The season has been real good for me this year – a couple of National wins and a Euros A final is just great! The car has been faultless throughout the season, the different clubs all have different carpets, so it can be a challenge to find a good set up for every event. The Cyclone has done what is now expected and performed. I want to thank my team mates, James Stewart, Andy Moore and Chris Smith for their support too.” Read More…
