Buggy-Pitstop contiues their report from the Australian National – “What an epic end to the Australian National titles. There were some highs and lows but everyone seemed to have a good time. Our adopted Euroaussie Reno Savoya took the TQ and National title out with his Mugen MBX-6, RB Engines and Proline Rubber. This now makes him the only Driver to ever hold 2 different national titles at once. Semi-B – Semi A saw some hot drivers all in one heat it was going to be tough for everyone to bump up into the final in this. The start saw Kyle McBride, Matt Griffin and Timmy G, Get out to an early lead. Behind in the first corner there was a huge crash extending the leaders to get out in front early. All through the race Martin Wolhuter, Dale Smulders, Josh Pain, Wayne Walker and Steven Drygalla were trading positions for a bump up position. It basically stayed this way through the whole race but in the dying moments of the race everyone started to make their moves, Wayne Suffered a fatal radio problem that put him out of the bump position. On the very last corner Josh Pain made an absolutely awesome move on Dale Smulders finishing just over 1 second in front!
