“The first race of the season 2009 was held by MRCC in the little town called Chatelineau nearby Charleroi, indoor on carpet. The first of six races was held in a hall on carpet. There were 47 drivers who want to participate at the race. We saw also a lot of new drivers who want to start in the Belgian championship. We took the start with the class Superstock with the 10.5 LRP/NOSRAM brushless motor with 30 participants. After the qualifications, it was the new man, Geoffrey Vekemans who took the pole. In the first a-final Geoffrey Vekemans took the lead from start till finish, Stephane Roufosse came in as second and Cédric Gils as third. The second final brought us Alain Sonval, started as fifth on the grid, and running in the lead after a crash from Geoffrey Vekemans.
