“The 2nd Annual MK Racing GP took place over the weekend, with most of the top UK 1/10th off road drivers in attendance. The Newbury club running the event had built a spectacular indoor track based on a 5-a-side football pitch. The track incorporated big jumps, crossovers, doubles, carpet and slippy flooring to produce a very challenging track for the drivers.As per usual the 2wd event took place on Saturday although, unusually FTD qualifying was in operation rather than the usual round by round system. As it turned out, on Saturday the FTD qualifying was probably a mistake as for some reason unknown the track became really slippery on the polished sections after round 1 and the drivers had little chance to beat the times set in the first round. ” Read More… [Source – cmldistribution.co.uk]
