Bloomfield Wins Novarossi GP


“Darren Bloomfield swept the competition aside today at the Novarossi GP, having secured TQ this morning ahead of Lee Martin, Darren would automatically start on pole in the final. The weather was pretty diabolical, light drizzle mixed in with dry spells peppered with heavy rain. As a result the truggy event (running on a different dirt track nextdoor) had to be called off, going on qualifying Ed Kerry took the win followed by Keith Newton & Steve Bond. The buggy final was a wet and cold affair, early servo problems put challenger Lee Martin out, the start saw Bloomfield lead out and never looked back.
