T2’007 Sweeps NorthWest Indoor Championships Series Race1



“The host of the 2007 ROAR On Road Nationals once again played host to the first carpet race of the season for Northwest racers. With just under 100 racers packing the pits at SIR the weekend was shaping up to be a great start to the carpet season. The NWIC in its 5th season is a series put on by area Northwest Hobby shops and race tracks that allows drivers to collect points at five events and compete for whose “the best in the Northwest for onroad carpet racing”. As racers began to arrive for practice on Friday a few began to hit the challenging course that the SIR crew had set out. After a few hours of practice the groove began to develop and lap times began to drop.
